Overview
Our Family Ministry exists to empower and minister to families using Christ-centered approaches. We seek to enable families to grow and develop spiritually through prayer, fellowship and reading God’s Word. We are a ministry that provides effective tools in order to help individuals communicate more effectively, deepen commitment in marriage, assist in becoming better parents etc. Our Family Ministry helps them grow in love and live in harmony as the family of God.

Why Family Ministry Matters
There are benefits of having family ministry. Here are some benefits listed below:
- It is in support of godly parenting. The church was never meant to be the exclusive faith teacher of children. Instead, God’s plan was for the two institutions (church and family) to form a partnership.
- It helps new families get connected with the church. Even when a new family comes into the church, they still need help to get connected.
- It provides families with meaningful shared experiences. This is true especially when the whole family can participate in events like vacation Bible school or summer camp.
- It can help them learn to love others. The 2nd greatest commandment is to love your neighbor. We must teach this as a way of life, because it doesn’t comes naturally.
- It allows the church body to use their talents and spiritual gifts. Releasing the ministry potential of lay people is often a key for church growth.
Joshua 24:15 “And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
