Usher Ministry
Overview
Our Usher Ministry exists to provide a welcoming, comfortable, and safe environment for guests attending Sunday services as well as special events. Ushers collectively work as a team, creating a warm and welcome environment for members and visitors and by providing assistance to other ministries which aligns with supporting the overall mission and goals of the Usher Ministry.

Why Usher Ministry Matters
There are benefits of having usher ministry. Here are some benefits listed below:
- Serves as a “first representative” of Jesus Christ for a worship service. Ushers set the tone for worship and helping to prepare the people to hear and respond to the Word of God.
- Serving God. Ushers maintain an atmosphere of reverence during, and after the service. When they usher the members and guests to their seats, they do it for God. When they gather the offerings, they serve God.
Colossians 3:23-24 “Whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as unto the Lord, and not unto men; knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.”
