Overview
Our Youth Ministry exists with the goal of communicating the love of Christ to the the youth of the world. It is very important to God that children are influenced by teachings from the Bible. Our Youth Ministry provides a safe, spiritual and fun environment where God’s Word comes to life through creative sessions, innovative lessons and much more. Also, we look to help the youth experience worship in private and corporate settings. This can be done by allowing the youth to help plan and have time in a worship service, allowing a youth position on the worship committee etc.
Why Youth Ministry Matters
There are benefits of having youth ministry. Here are some benefits listed below:
- To help youth understand and become aware of God as revealed in Jesus Christ, to grow in a personal commitment of faith, and to follow God’s will in the full meaning of discipleship.
- To give the youth opportunities for fellowship and development of social skills. This can be done by involvement in various church activities, youth events, and serving within the worship service in various capacities.
- To equip and empower adult leaders who will work effectively toward the objectives for youth ministry.
- To prepare young people for a lifelong walk with Christ.
- Young people should be treated with respect and courtesy we all seek.
